| Shekhawati
is a semi - desert area located in the North - East part of Rajasthan
(India), in the triangle between Delhi - Jaipur - Bikaner. In this region, wonderful wall paintings adorn in profusion the buildings constructed by the merchants. Mansions, temples, wells, cenotaphs ..., all are entirely covered with frescoes. Shekhawati is indeed an open air art gallery. |
